And yet again a strange sense of happiness is around me. The breeze seems to be so comforting, the aroma in the air is back and I am dancing as if noone is watching me.

I feel sad and very concerned at this very moment. Gymnastics has always been one of my favourite events, I love watching it and have the highest respect for these kids who probably gave away 10-15 years to their lives to compete at this level . But what do they see here, "incompetent fools" judging them ?...it saddens me deeply. My heart cries for Alexei Nemov and Yang Tae-Young both of these great atheletes had to face some judging errors/mistakes which 10 yrs from now maybe noone will remember. But for me both of them are real champions.

You try to control it ...try to get hold of it. You think you are in control and now you can sit and relax but it humbles you yet again. You are low...you rethink your strategies and the fools we are, we again try to get control of things. But....

Aaj bahut hi ajeeb din tha....kuch nahi samajh aaya what happened. One stage I was feeling good about my work and progress and the very next moment it was all shattered. So dukhi ho gaya, hopefully will be alright and smiling again by tomorrow morning. But the thing is yeh to bhagwaan hain na...bada hi kadak personality. The moment you get slightest amount of pride..it just gives you a reverse swinging slap.

Buss nothing more....just vented out what I felt...waiting for fida to release....:)

Other than this....had the most delicious bhindi this weekend, so made some today on my own. Fight is on to have batch reunion in September first week..lets hope everything falls in place and junta actually shows up. Fitness level has reached an all time low and need to pull up my socks.

Chuddu ne bhi ek bahut hi acha email bheja tha last week and I am hoping woh hero ban jaaye...hehe phir humko premiere ke tickets mil jaayenge, aur woh bhi front row...Amitabh Bhaithega 16th row mein.

long time

So after almost 6 days I am finally in a mood to write my blog. The reason being I am sitting on a very cool machine. My roommates Ajay Rao's computer....$1500 ka desktop hoga...sab kuch high end imagine kar lo and put it in.
Watched 1) Big Fish 2) The Village and 3) Bourne Supremacy....the 3) one was the best and 2) was also cool but it was 1) which was different..I slept in between the movie still could relate to wat was going on in the movie...over all three decent movies for a bored desi.

These days I am googling a lot...hehehe thats a secret term only some people will understand but anyways too much googling these days. I am also planning to buy a table and chair to take care of my back....just for those interested I bought a bed too.

Last week totally sucked work wise.....such a boring project I am working on. But is challenging at the same time...still would prefer something different. Talked to Anu, Alvi, Chinky, Pdot, Rishabh, Suman and so many people this weekend. Chalo more later....

Kya title topic et al. maangta hain bewakoof blogspot. Aaj thode puraane blog padhe...ajeeb se lagte hain and then you start thinking ki mera mindset kya raha hoga while typing them.

Another busy week has started, taking a short break to write this short blog. Watched "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" this weekend and also Raghu Romeo...both highly recommended. Vijay Raaz and Akhsay Kumar both acted pretty well.

Went to Yosemite National Park (google mein search kar park ki website dekhein). Amazin place people.......were there for a few hours as we drove and came back the same day. It was awesome ...had such a huge impact on me that I wonder what a fool I was not to do this before. But der aaye daroost aaye...ab yahan ke natural resources ko chadha ki aadat lag jaayegi :)

Aur to saw "Once Upon a time in America"....bhaiyaan agar mood ho aur patience ho to yeh movie highly recommended.

The movie is Phir Milenge and the song is "khul ke Muskurale".....nice....hmmm...really nice :)

Aren't these lines just  beautiful, sab kuch bol deti hain.  This is what all of  us are really looking for.  Latest news is that  my nails are so long now that they have started cutting through my socks...hehehe thats so me ekdum se the whole thought process is at a different plane.

I was not at all in a working mood today,  hopefully tomorrow I will be more focussed. Talked to Pathak, Topi and Abhishek today so in way I did accomplish something today. My back is healing and hopefully will be al fit by the weekend.....arre yeh kya weekend to aa gaya :)

Another one from Kukunoor....boss as Topi would say sahi movie hain. Not everything is new but the way he narrates the story makes it so good. The choice of actors and the script is excellent.
 
Music is awesome and nothing in the world impresses me more these days than Pakistani music. The movie has 2 excellent tracks from Fuzon.....a few lines from the song "Tere Bina"

why ?

Another sikh was attacked and this time not in a gas station in a secluded part of US..but in NY and that too in Richmond Hill. This happened on Sunday, don't know why but I was not feeling good ever since I read the news and after watching the video I felt like someone my own has been hit. Not just because he was a sikh but the way that old guy was badly beaten and still with his fractured nose and eye sockets he was saying "we are good people".
But then we went for a drive last night, so better now.

mamuu is back!!

Just came back from ny today. A very relaxing holiday, had a great time with kids. Both Jaskaran and Preet changed since I last saw them. Jaskaran is a poora gunda...saala tapori. Now life back to work:)..I was missing it already..hehehehe.

Right now just felt the perfect song for the moment...."Aao Naa" from the movie Kyun Ho gaya Na ...well sung song by Udit and Sadhana. The line "saazein dil chedo na...chup ho kyon gaao na" is so well sung by Udit, especially the way he says the word "Saazein".

I also wished I could write a review for Spiderman-2"....awesome movie, went for it on a Weekday...12:01-2:30 am show on a Tuesday night. Mein paagal aur mil gaya Ajay Somani mujhe...hona kya hain....yehi hona hain. But worth it....worth the hard work :)

Life took a strange turn and I could finally convince myself to accept certain things the way they are. Enough of fighting over whats impossible, ofcourse we are all fighters but there is no point trying to get something not meant for you. Its better that, that something realizes that they ought to be with you and it should come to you on their own.

But at the same point I have made some strange friends...all of them fun to talk to, I honestly think that I already have way too many friends. I feel friendships are emotional investments and you should have diversified portfolio but then too many scattered investments do not lead you anywhere. Aaj bada ajeeb tone mein I have written this blog, maybe it speaks of my mental framework. Weekend we just relaxed...and I talked to something and some small investments.

aimless wanderer

Lakshya ..is the movie of the year. Farhan Aktar has once again shown he is the director of the present times. The movie is nice, I never thought I will write this but Hrithik is good. All the characters are well suited for their respective parts aur 2-3 scenes to bhagwaan!!!. So go and watch it is my recommendation

Baaki Bammi ko SF ghumaaya and also went to Berkeley for 2-3 hours. Ek dum Michigan ki yaad aa gayi. They also had a place similar to our Media Union lawns but now that I look back UofM was too big and too magnificent. Still nice place, we also went to a place called Marina to observe the sunset but I guess UCSB has a much better sunset point. Drove 200 miles yesterday so my gaddi worked hard yesterday and driving in San Franciso's Lambart street and then on to Crooked street was an experience :)) Ask people following me who had the time of their lives. So yeh weekend bhi bhaag gaya aur so many things still not done. Chalo maybe next week

Itna life mein busy ho jaaonga kabhi nahi socha tha. Matlab ki ...matlab ki ...bahut hi jyaada busy. Ghar aao aur Somani aur Bammi, do meta ke dhuandar...life mein aur kya chahiye. Time kaise beet jaata hain pata hi nahi chalta. Blog likhne tak ka time nahi milta and as I am writing this one Bammi is brushing is teeth, aur mera roommate Ajay rao utha to release the final fluids for the day...hehehehe gandi baat

Aur to kuch khaas nahi hain likhne ko, kal Lakshya dekhne ka plan hain hopefully everything goes on smoothly. Makhi was this close to plan a trip to Sunnyvale but then he backed out which I guess is good. I want to spend time with him aur woh nahi ho paata. Chalo I guess..its okay

These days everyone is after the all cool gmail account. I finally had mine last evening but I am confused now. jeevsingh_at_yahoo_daat.com is my identity...its me!!!. So now even after having gmail I have made my mind to stick to my yahoo account. Bada bhaari decision tha doston...Parle definitely aisa hi comment maarta.

Hmm...Kal Kabra aur chuddu dono se baatein hue after a long time. But still need to catch up with so many people. Vivek Mathur sidee.....painoo (just to make you happy). Arre haan last time I wrote about Dev but forgot to write in how pathetic Fardeen khan is. Yaar bahut hi ghatiya actor hain...kuch scenes mein bandar si shaqal bana kar gussa hone ka pretention kar raha tha.hahahaha....dhyaan de, I do not use the word "acting" but pretention. Kareena is too good again, so sahi hain.

Song of the day is from the movie Khakee...."Yuhin hum tumse pyaar karte rahein". This song was not in the movie but worth listening.

Dev

Kal we went for Dev, Ranade ka treat tha. I do not get what Nihalini made, he should stick to his arty outlook and should not try to prove as a commercial director. But since Ranade paid for out tickets guilt level was a little less :)

Topius is way too busy these days. Pata nahi when I will get to talk with him, Parle ka kuch pata nahin. Everything else seems to be so steady ki boring ho jaata hain. Arre haan the exciting part...weekend we went for a Desi party. It was fun as the crowd was good but 2% did not had a very good representation, especially from the fairer sex. But the abcd crowd was oooommphhh, so was fun. We guys did a junglee dance..typical tapori junglee dance. So yeh tha mera weekend....and I have a mannat too for weeks to come :)

week paases by so fastest, I cannot telling what happening. see I cannot help it, this is part of the childish humor I enjoy at times. Anyways who gives a damn, kuch chamka ? nahin na!

Dean of CMU and Univ of Chicago are desi's ...both from IIT-Kgp. I don't like the last part though :). Aur to aaj raat ko maybe we go to desi party, anu ajay ranade and me. Dekhtein hain hota kya hain. I am waiting for a phone call but that phone call does not comes. It never comes :(, but now I am used to it but still on certain days I miss that call a lot..sentiiiiiiiiiiiii

Bharat Garg is working and as OP says a lot, so theek hain. Der Saver kismat makes you toil and fight for what you want to achieve. Also I was suprised to know that one of my seniors Mittal left mit to join a music school...this is so bestest news. Banda stud tha but to take these steps you neend something not everyone is born with.

Music scene is so pathetic, koi maar do Sameer ko maar do...Aur these idiotics gay brother musicians, not 3-4 but those who work as a pair. They suck all of them...yesh J-L too. Koi please maar do!!

Another good news is Vivek Mathur is moving on....he is moving to a UK based company in India. So me happy for him, happy se yaad aaya Happy to me for Topius, his life seems to be getting a direction and he is working hard towards it. I am happy he never liked Materials Sciences.

too busy

I said it before, life is all of a sudden more busy and happening. We were in SF the whole day today, was fun, saw a lot of new places and faces :)..all desi know what I mean. But you cannot miss one thing and that was the different character the city possesses. Loads of nice bakeries and eateries and this combined with the water fronts and those topsy-turvy streets. The people seemed to be nice...no hate crimes as such on me. Saw the same sikh couple with their parents today, I had earlier seen them at the moview Main Hoon Na. But right now dead tired as another busy week awaits me.

Yuva!!!!!!!!!!!!

I simply hate it, so much bad press just to bring a movie down. I watched Yuva the first day and going for a second watch today. I simply loved the movie, I am a big admirer of Mani Ratnam characters. He makes you know them, introduces them and tells their story...Lallan, Michael, the girls (naam bhool gaya :) everyone in the movie ). Before I say anything else....Mani Ratnam acha director hain yeh bolna hoga.

They did the same to Dil Se...another masterpiece. Dimaag nahi hain to movie mat dekho is my advice to all these pathetic reviewers. You dharti par bhoj group is good for watching crap like Main Hoon Na...woh bhai bhai ka pyaar, woh mamta, woh cycle rikshaw...my foot.

I advice all those you chance upon this blog even after days of me writing these words...watch Yuva!!!. Its a good movie.

Today Ajay is coming here for an internship. So hopefully the next few months will be more happening :). More and more meta publix is getting to bay area now, so lets see aage ki honda hain. TOday is Ma-Pa anniversary....and tomorrow is my veer's birthday. cool na!

long weekend

Long weekend aa gaya. Normal weekend to pass nahi hota aur yeh wala long weekend...ufff!!
Anyways, I was planning to visit a friend and 2 days into the weekend I still have not visited him. On a different note, India seems to be finally accepting the fact that Dr. Singh is the new PM. I was not really happy with the way he was getting media attention just because he is a sikh and from a minority. Common yaar grow up, he is an India and a good one, I think only that should matter. Pata nahi yaar waise apne ko politics thoda kum hi chamakta hain.

Aaj raat ko shaayad I might watch Bandini and Shrek-II both :)

bore little a is life

Del boring ho gayi hain life.. nothing exciting these days. Evening plans maybe Hum Tum maybe Shrek lets see. Another boring weekend is knocking to bore me even more. Waise bore word bolte hi, mujhe woh lal wale bore yaad aate hain. I love those red ones, the Rajasthani ladies who used to sell them were so dirty. Still, you managed to ignore all that n enjoi the bores.
