Delhi-6

Watched this movie on a rainy night four days ago with two kids. Honestly I came out with mixed emotions. The passion of the director was evident in the movie but sadly his hero could not carry the scenes well enough. Abhishek who was adding so much value to every scene in Yuva looked useless other than the achar making song "Saiyyan ched ...". Maybe it was the fact that I was sitting in the first row and Abhishek looked fat to me with his guppa-face covering the entire screen. Overall Abhishek was disappointing and I think the movie ended up being a *** movie instead of having everything to make it **** movie.

Sitting with two kids who have been brought up in USA, I realized that these movies are priceless to teach them about Ramayana and Indian culture. Needless to say RO-Mehra did a great job as a director but could have ended the movie better. The whole Amitabh helping out in his son's movie is not at all appreciated. Last but not the least, Soonam Kapoor is here to stay.

I am yet to watch this one. For some time now, the list of Bollywood films at the only chain of cinemas that shows them here has been empty. No clue why. The las they showed was CC2C which I avoided.

Talking about Ramayan and Indian culture, I had downloaded the series of Vikram Betaal. Incidently, a friend was home for dinner and she asked me to burn a DVD for her daughter. She said that here daughter would not believe stories she told about this show and then I played a couple of videos. She was very interested and excited.

At the same time, if someone was to release the video legally, the system here would not allow for it. Too graphical for children, they will say.

I did not like Sonam in Saawariya, I hope what you say about her will come true.

You must have lost your mind writing this review, or getting to senti! The movie sucked from a-z, and had nothing worth 3-stars in it!

Watched this with Parle, and it was the worst 220 rupee investment I have ever made, really.

Yes, Sonam was the only grace in this movie, apart from Kala Bandar.
